The Sandhills are homes to over 48 golf courses designed by world renowned greats.g Home to North Carolina’s oldest foxhunt, the sandy footing and thousands of acres of longleaf forests have lured equestrians for over a century. Golfers and riders are joined in their enjoyment by healthy groups of bikers, joggers, runners, hikers, tennis players, hunters and more. There isn’t a nicer place to get out and simply walk a dog.
